The young Annibale Pezzi, illegally occupies a bed in a hospital in Lombardy. Between him, communist one piece, and Sister Germana, after a fierce ideological struggle, comes a deep affection. The Sister is about to give up her vocation when she learns to be attracted to that rebel boy who arrives at the hospital seriously injured, after a demonstration, to whom she will give a last passionated kiss.
