During a terrible storm the Marquis Luca Maria Sbrisson you sees disappearing from under the eyes, the wife Luisa. Perhaps in his folly, the Marquis behaves as if nothing had happened, talking and listening to the “ghost” of his wife. A musician friend of the Marquis, in front of the attempt by some to intern the noble man, recruits a prostitute to take the place of the missing woman.
